[edit] Game Information

The Sims 4 is the fourth-generation installment in The Sims series.

The Sims 4 was developed by the Sims Studios and published by Electronic Arts. Fans first heard rumors on May 6, 2013 that the Sims 4 was being created but would not be able to get their hands on the actual game until it was officially released in North America on September 2, 2014 for Windows.

Months later a Apple Mac version for digital download was released on February 17, 2015.

Created with the same concept as earlier sims games like The Sims 3 and The Sims 2; players can form relationships, fall in love, have families, and preform a limitless amount of activities. There is no set in stone goal for the gameplay of The Sims 4.

The create-a-sim and build modes have been completely redesigned to allow more versatility when in game.

The newest feature of The Sims 4 is "Emotions".

Sims now have their own emotions and that plays a large role in the gameplay other than in previous games. Their emotions, like their moods, effect all areas such as; personality, social interaction, and the willingness of your sim.
