Background
Basically, the Sims 2: Pets is a remake of the ever-popular "Unleashed" for Sims 1. Sims can now have their very own pet, such as dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. You can accessorize the Sims' home, as well, by adding new features that only your animals are able to use.
General Information
Your Sims will have to feed their pets, spend time with them, and take care of them. Pets have needs just like Sims.
You can customize your Sims and their pets from head to toe... Or head to tail. Everything about them can be changed to suit you, from their looks to their clothes to their personality.
Your pets can have jobs. (Only a dog can have a job.) As Sims need skills to build up. Pets need to learn new tricks from their master. While you earn some cash, your pets can unlock some gifts for your pets when they get promoted.
