[edit] Dating

By phoning the Matchmaker, the Sim can be put on a blind date. The more money they pay, the more likely they are to be matched with a good match. This is based on Chemistry, a new element in this game. Each Sim will have two turn ons and one turn off. When on a date, the Date Meter will be displayed on the right side of the screen, telling you how well the date is going. Based on the actions taken, the date can be good or bad, falling into seven different categories; Dream Date (best), Great, Good, Okay, Lame, Bad or Horrible (Worst). If your sim goes on a very good date, they may receive something in the mail (eg a meal coupon at a restaurant), a single rose or a bunch of roses. If it was very bad, they may get a flaming bag of dung or something equally horrible. Dates can take place anywhere, such as a Restaurant, Bowling Alley, Park or simply at home.
