Staff of The Sims Online needed one city where tests could be made on it's players. Created on November 25, 2002 Test Center threw new gifts, items, and features at it's residents. Such feautures as new objects that sims could use to make money and enjoy the game even further. Staff even gave test subjects up to 500,000 simoleans on special occasions to help the economy of the city. But one catch to this lottery sims weren't allowed to move out, becoming pernament subjects to the Test Center. Test Center's servers crashed on December 4, 2007 and didn't boot back up until June 28, 2007 becoming Test Center 3. After the revival of the city, players continued to enjoy new objects such as custom content that was soon released to the rest of EA Land from being recognized so well. The computers having never been the same from rebooting, they crashed once again on August 1, 2008 and were never brought back to life.
