-- START OF EPISODE --


The episode starts off with you and Jimmy talking. All of a sudden, the ground starts shaking, and a big, white rat walks by. Then another one. Jimmy walks off, and you get a new plot point.


NEW PLOT POINT

  • Investigate where all the rats are coming from


So again, you get to play investigator. Follow the rats, which are coming from the Salt Mines. (Note: If you take out the water gun, you can shoot them and they disappear :D) So, once you get to the exterior of the Salt Mines, right of the area with the Casino, follow the train track into the actual mine. At the end of the tunnel, you'll see a chubby little mole guy and a throne. The Mole King rambles a bit, but then mentons needing a "spine from a flowering spiny cactus... a chunk of fissionable plutonium... a pair of rubber waders... and a pile of scrap iron." Guess what? You get to find those items for him!

NEW PLOT POINTS

  • Pluck the spines of a flowering Spiny Cactus
  • Acquire a chunk of fissionable plutonium
  • Find a pair of rubber waders
  • Get a pile of scrap iron


(Note: I'll refer to the cactus as (1), the plutonium as (2), the rubber waders as (3), and the scrap iron as (4) to make things easier.) So, exit the Salt Mines, and you'll be approached by Penelope Redd. She doesn't seem to trust the Mole People and asks you to participate in her plan. She tells you to meet her at the entrance of the Salt Mines after you've completed the Mole Peoples' tasks.


(4): First go into the farmhouse on the right, once you exit the Salt Mines. Talk to Optimum Alfred. He can give you scrap iron. He doesn't have any at the moment, but help him with his demolition and he'll gladly supply you with some. You get to play the "Chop-Shop" minigame, which requires you to pick up parts with the A Button and sort them in the correct bin using the control pad. Your score is based off the number of parts in the bin with the least total. Once you complete the minigame, Optimum Alfred tells you that he cannot help you get the scrap iron out of the pile, and that you'll need the help of someone strong.


NEW PLOT POINT

  • Find someone strong to help rip out the iron


Someone strong, hmm.. How about Jimmy? Go talk to him, he should be in the Fusilli's house. Once you get to him, he says that he'll only talk to friends, so start a Friend Conversation and complete it successfully to get him to listen to you. He agrees to help you once you're friends, so lead him to Optimum Alfred's to rip out that iron.

(3): Talk to Pepper Pete - he should be in the Casino. Once you ask him about waders, he'll tell you that he lost his while he was fishing in the Strangetown pond. He also tells you that the pond has dried up and that there's a factory that disassembles cars built on the old pond site.


NEW PLOT POINT

  • Dig up the waders in the field behind the factory


Head back to Optimum's, but go around the back of the factory and dig in the dark patch of sand - the waders should be there.

(2): Talk to Luthor, who will also be in the Casino, and he'll tell you that he knows nothing about fissionable plutonium, but if you pay him the right amount, he may go "learn" about it. He asks for §300, so hand it over and let the learning begin. Go check your mailbox and there should be a letter from Luthor there.


NEW PLOT POINT

  • Pick up the plutonium behind the City Hall


Go to the back of City Hall and you'll see a jar of plutonium sitting on the ledge on the right. Go up there and grab it to complete the plot point.

(1): Head to the Pawn Shop and buy the Heavy Work Gloves - they're pricey, but necessary to get those cactus spines. Once you've bought them, go to the desert and find a nice looking cactus and pull off a few spines.

  • Return to Lord Mole with all the items


Easy enough. Run back to the Salt Mines. Daddy B will stop you at the entrance and cut to commercial.


Commercial Break - King Chug Chug
Just tap A to run from the freaky human-eating cup of cola, while pressing Down to drink the cola you're holding before it explodes and Up to jump over crates of cola. The commercial ends when King Chug Chug eats you or your cola explodes.


Continue into the Salt Mines - you'll be dragged aside by Penelope Redd. She tells you to hand over the items like nothing's wrong, but that she'll be ready to pounce at the last second. Now, go and talk to Lord Mole. Penelope will rush out and accuse Lord Mole of making a weapon of destruction, but he says otherwise.

NEW PLOT POINT

  • Choose who to side with by talking to Penelope Redd or Lord Mole


If you side with Lord Mole, you get to play a little game where you're surrounded by a bunch of holes in the ground and you have to hit the man that comes out of one of the holes with your shovel. DON'T hit the moles. Once you've hit him enough times, Lord Mole tells Penelope about the Digging Device that he's planning to create and that the Mole People are not evil. (Note: If you side with Penelope, the same thing happens, but you must hit the MOLES instead of the men.)

Head east from the main town and go up the path and talk to Jebediah, he'll give you a Luxury Chair to deliver to Momma Hogg. Mamma Hogg can be found in the Parking Lot of the Nuclear Plant. (North from the main town.)
HIDDEN WANT --
Go to Frankie's house at the start of the episode and head down the stairs. Talk to Jimmy and he'll ask you about a microfiche. You can find it in the chimney. Hand it over to Jimmy and the hidden want will be complete.
