Daddy B: "Good pick of scripts, _____. You know, Frankie Fusilli used to be a friend of mine, until he crossed me! But I'm getting him back! All of his gangster buddies back in Miniopolis are laughing at him right now, watching him on television! Ha! What a dupe!"


-- START OF EPISODE --


"Knock knock, pipsqueak! Jimmy "The" Neck is here." You better go answer the door, because he won't stop knocking. Head out the front door and you'll find Jimmy there, waiting to question you. He jumps right in and accuses you of stealing a briefcase. He refuses to leave, so start an Intimidate Conversation to knock some sense into him. The convo takes 4 successful Annoy or Insult interactions to get Intimidate 1 with Jimmy. Once you've intimidated him, he confesses to losing the briefcase and asks you to go speak to Frankie.


NEW PLOT POINTS

  • Find and return the briefcase to Jimmy "The" Neck
  • Investigate the Pawn Shop and the Saloon for clues
  • Gain Frankie Fusilli's confidence


Head over to Frankie's. (South from your house. Go down the first driveway you see and in the glass door.) Go through his house, (left, down, right.) If you can't see the door to get to the last room, it's between the fridge and the fireplace. Go down the stairs in the next room and you'll see Frankie there. Talk to him and choose the "What's up?" option. He learns of the lost briefcase and asks you to cheer up his daughter, Ara, in exchange for some information about the briefcase.


NEW PLOT POINT

  • Make friends with Ara Fusilli


Leave the house and go search around for Ara. (She's usually outside the casino, which is a little east of the Pawn Shop.) Talk to her. If you choose "What's up?" you'll find out that she really is having a bad day. Now's the time to start the friend conversation, contrary to her request to leave her alone. The convo should take about 5-12 sucessful friendly interactions to complete. Once you've befriended her, she'll tell you that she wants to get into the casino, but that her father has told the owner to not let her in. She says that she could sneak in, but someone's been tailing her (Giuseppi Mezzoalto) and that she needs you to distract him.

NEW PLOT POINT

  • Get something to distract Giuseppi Mezzoalto so Ara can go to the casino


Run off to the Pawn Shop and buy the Paddleball. It's a whopping §250, but anything to help out a friend, right? Now, find Giuseppi. (He should be behind a cactus to the right of where Ara is standing.) Talk to him and choose "What's up?" He'll ask about the paddleball, and you offer to let him try it. Distraction complete.

Go back and talk to Ara (choose "What's up?") and she'll go inside and tell you to meet her in there to talk about her father.

  • Ask Ara to talk to her father for you


Go into the casino and talk to Ara. She lets you know about her time in the casino and tells you tha she'll talk to her father for you.

You can do one of two things now. Either head back to the Fusilli's place and talk to Frankie, or go look for clues. I've chosen to look for clues first, but you could do either. So, for clues.. Go to the Pawn Shop, and go up the stairs to the left of the desk. You'll see a pile of sand and question why it's there. Then go to the Saloon and investigate around the back left corner. Another pile of sand is there, but this one has red paint chips and glass in it. (If you've managed to explore south of the Fusilli's house, in the desert area, you'll have an idea of where it came from.. Anyway,

Talk to Dusty Hogg before you leave, and he'll say something about a busted freezer door. Go in the door on the right and you'll see he freezer. If you try to repair it, you'll see that you don't have enough mechanical skill. Leave that alone for now, and head over to the Fusilli's house to talk to Frankie again. Frankie tells you about the briefcase, but only says that his friend was trying to bury the briefcase and that photographs were inside.

  • Speak to Jimmy the Neck about what you've learned


Exit the Fusilli's house and Daddy B will call you. He says that you're doing well, but that he needs to cut to commercial.


Commercial Break - Car Commercial
Just drive around in the fancy car and don't hit anything, it takes away 50 from your score.


After the commercial, go talk to Jimmy the Neck, like the plot point said. Jimmy comes to the conculsion that you're a super sleuth and that he buried the briefcase in the desert. Jimmy gives you a shovel, and you can now dig in the sand.

"You got the shovel tool! Use the R Button to activate or deactivate the shovel tool. Press the A Button to dig." You can dig where ever you please, but the places where things might be are indicated by a darker patch of sand. Head left from the Fusilli's house and go into the desert. If you remember the sand piles from earlier, you'll realize that you have to dig where the red car is. (At the left-most part of the desert.) Dig in the sand patch near there and you'll find an object. Press start and go to your items to see what it is. Of course, it's the briefcase, so let's take it back to Jimmy. On second thought, while you're still out here, go talk to the blond guy on your sim's first right when you entered the desert. (He's on the red boat.) He sells skill books, and it'd be a very good idea to pick up the Mechanical one for the low, low price of §175. It's worth it f you have enough, you'll need it for the hidden want. (And if you remember, it's fixing the busted freezer Dusty was talking about back at the Saloon earlier.) So, head back and fix that freezer, then go to talk to Jimmy again. He talks about how stupid he feels for not remembering where the suitcase was, but he tanks you in the end and gives you a squirt gun. "You got the Super Drencher tool! Use the R Button to activate and deactivate the Drencher. Press the A Button to squirt."

ERRAND --
From your house, head to the left, then hang a right at the corner of the Pawn Shop. Continue through the Nuclear Plant and to the next area, where you'll find the Zoo. Go in the first house on the right and you'll find Sancho Paco Panza. Talk to him, and ask him for an errand. He'll give you a Dam Drain Plug and ask you to return it to Kayleigh Wintercrest. (She should be in the Nuclear Plant Office, like always.) Once you return it to her, the errand will be complete.


HIDDEN WANT --
Go to the Saloon and talk to Dusty Hogg. He'll say something about a busted freezer door - go in the door on the right and you'll find it, but too bad! You can't fix it because you don't have enough mechanical skill. Head out to the desert, with §175 in hand, and go to the blond guy standing on the red boat. He sells skill books, and if you buy the mechanical one and read it, you'll get the skill point you need. Run back to the Saloon and fix that freezer door to complete the hidden want.
