Welcome to the Sims NeoWiki! This wiki is open for all Neoseeker members to contribute to.
We need your help with migrating all the information that was produced by the staff of the portal which originated from the Neoseeker Sims Portalthread to the new Neo Sims Wiki! The Sims Wiki is replacing the former Sims Portal as the community created knowledge base of all things in the Sims Universe :D, so please help if you can.
How you can Help and What We Need
- Check out Short Pages and fill them up with more info to flesh them out and make them more complete!
- Help start pages from the Wanted Pages list, which lists a bunch of pages linked within the Wiki but that have not been created yet.
- Check out Long Pages for some examples of in depth pages.
- Help organize pages, and upload plenty of images!
- Start creating Guide and Walkthrough like pages!
- Write original content in your own words - do NOT copy and paste from other sources (but it is ok to source from other locations as long as you write using your own words, just like a research paper or Wikipedia article. References are fine)
What kind of content we need
We need ORIGINAL content that covers:
- Super in depth information about the games, the characters, locales, missions, weapons, bloopers, tricks, and tips
- Detailed maps, images, and other media
- Thorough and well documented walkthroughs for whole missions or specific goals - use plenty of images!
Some examples of nicely made pages (which are still works in progress are the San Andreas and Vice City in the GTA Wiki.
NOTE that characters should be covered INDEPTH. Don't just try to shoot for a simple summary of who that character is. We want to create a comprehensive amount of information. Even minor characters have story backgrounds and are involved in various aspects of the game. Bring up their history, their involvement, what missions you will see them, who voices their character, any artists that worked on the character, concept art, in game shots, cut-scene shots, and anything you can think of including trivia and other interesting tidbits.
The Sims Wiki Statistics
As of August 28 2008, this NeoWiki currently has 109 articles and 119 images. Help us make this NeoWiki even better by looking at our Wanted pages!

The Sims Online
Take a chance, play the game, but not the way everyone else does, play it online! Hurry while you still can because The Sims Online only has five short weeks left to live!
Maxis has decided to officially end the EA-Land project leaving many longtime, die-hard fans in shock and tears. Many cannot believe and others have gone so far as trying to make a deal with Maxis for the game itself and it's rights, one day they wish to make the game a player-owned game, is this really how desperate and far players are willing to go?
The official date of The Sims Online's death is set for August 1, 2008. At sunset on this fateful day, all Sims Online servers will shut down leaving everything in darkness. No player, whether still paying and suscribing to the game will be able to play.
News Update
President of EA officially announced today that he has never heard of a game called The Sims Online and it's officially been called as "never existing". This leaves many of the die-hard players that have been playing since the early days of 2002 outraged! What kind of person can just deny something that has actually been living for the past 6 years? What's that you say, yes I agree, it can only be... a monster.
